Helping Each Other

Segulah believes strongly that an important role of the community is supporting each other through the ups and downs of life.  The Segulah community team is there to help coordinate meals and other support for new and growing families, those experiencing loss or illness, people new to the Silver Spring/Shepherd Park area, or anyone else who could use some extra community support.

If you or even someone you know could use a helping hand, please contact us at [email protected] and a team member will be in touch to see how we can help out!

Mutual Respect

Segulah is committed to creating an inclusive, volunteer-led community in which relationships are based on mutual respect and are free from harassment, including sexual harassment. Interpersonal interactions at Segulah should be free of unwelcome touching, unwelcome expressions of intimacy, unwelcome topics of conversation, or other unwelcome conduct.

If you have a concern, please contact the Mutual Respect volunteers.  You may do that in person at any Segulah event or by email at mutualrespect@segulahminyan.org. If you contact by email, a volunteer will contact you to discuss your concern.
