Holidays at Segulah

Segulah has celebrated many holidays as a community!

High Holidays

In 5778, Segulah men for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur yet again! This was our 6th annual Yom Kippur, and our 3rd annual Rosh Hashanah! We held morning services on both days of Rosh Hashanah, and all services on Yom Kippur. For more information, see our High Holidays FAQ. Check back later for information for 5779!

Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah

There are varying views within the Segulah community on what day Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah falls, and we celebrate that diversity by organizing services on both 22 Tishrei and 23 Tishrei.  In recognition of these varying views, these services are planned so that everyone can attend Segulah for hakafot, Hatan/Kallah Torah (the completion of the annual cycle of Torah readings), Hatan/Kallah Bereishit (the completion of the annual cycle of Torah readings), Yizkor, and Geshem on the day(s) of their choosing.  Join us for one or both services! Check back for information for Shemini Atzeret/Simach Torah 5779.

Purim

Segulah usually meets for daytime reading of Megillat Esther. Check back closer to the date for information for Purim 5778.
