Job Listing: Part-Time Director

Minyan Segulah (an independent Jewish community founded in 2009 and based in South Silver Spring, MD and Shepherd Park, DC) is hiring a Part-Time Director.  This person will take the lead in maintaining Segulah’s existing programming and infrastructure and in envisioning and developing Segulah’s future programming and infrastructure, together with Segulah’s other paid and volunteer leaders.

  • Maintaining Segulah’s supplies
  • Facilitating existing and new initiatives aimed at outreach and community-building
  • Supervising and collaborating with Segulah’s part-time Community Coordinator, and working closely with Segulah’s volunteer leadership

  • Familiar with and invested in the Segulah community, or willing to become familiar and help Segulah grow
  • Organized and efficient
  • Clear and compassionate communicators who can represent Segulah effectively to a variety of constituents
  • Flexible, and available for irregular work hours, including some evenings and weekends
